Main Hall

Our spacious main hall is perfect for a large party, meeting or gathering. The room can comfortably seat 80 guests tabled, 100 theatre style with an overall capacity of 140 standing. With plenty of rectangular tables and comfortable chairs available to use as you wish, the main hall is a sympathetically restored and attractive space to hire.

Guests are welcome to string decorations from convenient fixing points and can, by prior arrangement utilise our sophisticated audio visual equipment including projector, screen, surround sound, blu-ray/cd player and microphones.

We can provide tea and coffee facilities for your event or even a full catering service by either buffet or cafe service. If you would like to use the well equipped kitchen which is adjacent to the main hall, we offer use for an additional fee of £10 per booking

Located on the ground floor, the Bilberry is a counselling room suitable for very small private meetings. We recommend this space be used for up to 6 people. The Bilberry is also used as part of our library service so houses part of our book collection as well as an open access public computer. Hire of this space is limited so please contact the hall to check availability.

Located on the first floor and therefore accessible by stairs only, the Carthew is flooded with natural light from velux and floor level windows. This airy meeting room is suitable for up to 25 seated guests theatre style or around 20 comfortably at tables. Furniture is supplied and arranged as required.

The Carthew, like all of our meeting rooms upstairs, benefits from a mobile display screen which can be used with your own laptop, in place of a projector and speakers, making it an ideal space for meetings and training. Tea and coffee facilities can be provided outside the rooms on the landing which can also double as a convenient break out space should it be needed.

This comfortable first floor room seats up to 20 guests theatre style or 16 at tables. Use of a mobile display screen can be included in your booking if required. Tea and coffee facilities are available on the first floor landing and catering can be provided through the Community Cafe.
