We are happy to host the Mindful Monday Classes at Treverbyn Community Hall offered by the lovely Helen Perrott of From Acorns to Oaks. Practising mindfulness on a regular basis has been shown to have many benefits on our physical, mental health and wellbeing.
The benefits include a reduction in feelings of stress and anxiety , an increase in our self esteem, confidence and resilience and improved concentration, focus and clarity.
We will be focusing on the mind, body breath and sensation. The classes will give you the opportunity to slow down and you will learn how to be more gentle and compassionate with yourself, through a combination of mindful sitting , lying, walking and movement.
You will also learn more about the background and practice of mindfulness and how to build it into your daily life.
This is a beginner’s class but will benefit those with some knowledge already and would like a refresher.
The classes will run outside in Treverbyn Halls’ beautiful garden space, weather permitting if not, the large meeting room will be available for the class.
