Treverbyn Community Hall would not exist without volunteers.

Whether you have existing specialist skills to bring to the charity or you would like to try new things we would love to hear from you.   Whether it’s a day a week or an hour once a month we can be as flexible as you need us to be.

We are currently in extra need of volunteers for the following areas:

  • Community Cafe
  • Cake bakers
  • Reception
  • Marketing & administrative support
  • Just jobs handy people. Monthly maintenance morning for odd jobs
  • Gardening and greenspace

People volunteer for many different reasons. Some of our team do so in order to improve employability and we are happy to provide plenty of individual help with this, others make friends, improve their confidence and like to make a contribution to their community.  Our volunteers are a very important part of our team and frequently comment on the sociable aspect of their involvement at the hall and enjoy getting to know new people.

In 2019 Treverbyn Community Hall signed up for Tempo Time credits. The Time credits model is a national project rewarding volunteers with the gift of a time credit that can be spent on various activities, college courses and social events or simply gifted out to those in need. To find out more information or to sign up call or pop in and speak to Amanda Ellis.
