Who's who

Treverbyn Community Hall runs thanks to a large, dedicated team of trustees, volunteers, staff and activity leaders. This is just a handful of the wonderful team who make our community special. There are many, many more friends of the Hall who make it a success. If you too would like to make a positive contribution to our lovely community please check out the volunteer page for further information. If you are at all unsure, any member of our regular team would be delighted to meet you to discuss their individual experiences of the Hall.

Sara Marsh

Sara has been involved in the local community since 2007 and has progressed from Manager to CEO at The Hall. She is well known for her passion for the community which is proving to be highly infectious!

Amanda Ellis

Amanda started as a volunteer at the Hall in 2016, keen to become involved with the greenspace. She was employed as Admin in 2017 and then worked her way up to Hall Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator and now Manager. She enjoys walking with her two boys and two dogs, socialising, cinema and shopping.

Tammy Barter

Admin & Finance Assistant
Tammy joined Team Treverbyn in July 2019 as a temporary Administrator. She has recently taken on more responsibility with a finance role. She is passionate about family, equal rights, respect, diversity, inclusion and manners. Her interests include: walking, singing, dancing, reading, crafting and earrings (692 pairs on the last count!)
Kevin Marsh

Kevin Marsh

Community Larder Manager
Kevin helped previously with the greenspace project but since COVID19 he found there was huge demand for food support. Kevin is in charge of the community larder which helps tackle food waste, saves the community money and any donations are put back into the Food Bag Supporters Scheme.

Helen Keast

Volunteer Coordinator
Helen joined as a Community Larder Assistant based at the Roche Hub in April 2021 and in September moved across to an opening as Volunteer Coordinator. She has many hats, including answering calls and listening for the Samaritans, which we think is pretty amazing. Her interests are baking and cooking, going for walks especially near trees and water, spotting butterflies, bugs and beetles.

Greenspace Manager
Jason joined Treverbyn as a keen volunteer in October 2018. Always happy to get stuck in he was a natural choice to take over with the Greenspace project in 2020. A true leader and inspiration to many.

Nic Andersen

Habitat Creation Manager
Nic joined the team in 2019. She is extremely passionate about helping individuals, whatever their background or interest, feel empowered to do something in their own lives to help wildlife. She also works voluntarily with many community groups on outreach to help people understand the climate emergency and what can be done about it.

Heimke Moll

Youth Worker
Heimke joined the team in 2017 to take a lead on youth related activities. Heimke has a great sense of fun and enjoys singing and dancing and is passionate about improving lives for our young people. Her hobbies are dancing, nature and to be together with beings!
Julia muray cleaner

Julia Murray

Julia joined the team in April 2021, helping us keep the Hall building all spick and span! She is originally from South Yorkshire but has lived in the village for almost 18 years now. She is very much a home bird, but loves spending time with her family and lovely cat, Hugo. She also enjoys eating out, crafting and curling up on the settee watching a boxset.

Carrie Castleden

Environment Matters Lead
Carrie has been involved with Treverbyn for many years in several roles and is currently working as a volunteer to run the Environment Matters series. Passionate about education, environment and community, she loves a quiet night in with family or friends.

Jo Martin

Marketing and Admin Assistant
Jo joined the team in April 2021, to help support all project leads with their marketing activities. She has lived in Cornwall all her life with her Husband and 2 boys. She enjoys walking, movies, escape rooms and shopping. In her spare time she likes to make candles, soaps and crafting in general.
