Who's who

Treverbyn Community Hall runs thanks to a large, dedicated team of trustees, volunteers, staff and activity leaders. This is just a handful of the wonderful team who make our community special. There are many, many more friends of the Hall who make it a success. If you too would like to make a positive contribution to our lovely community please check out the volunteer page for further information. Doug Stewart

Trustee
Doug has been involved with The Hall for many years starting as a volunteer in the community garden and helping with the transition of The Hall and has also been the treasurer for a period of time. He has worked in retail for 30 years managing several stores in Devon and Cornwall and is now an area manager covering all of Cornwall and Plymouth.
Paul

Paul Brown

Trustee
Paul graduated with a degree in chemical engineering and gained an MBA from London Business School. He held various senior management positions in materials technology and radiation chemistry. Paul got involved in the Hall’s activities and went on to become a Trustee. He is also a voluntary adviser for the CAB. Paul likes gardening and growing vegetables and exploring Cornwall with his wife.
Chris

Chris Starnes

Trustee
Chris joined the Armed Forces and he trained as a nurse also physical training instructor. He then joined the NHS developed career in forensic nursing. Once retired he currently works part time teaching. He is passionate about lifelong learning for everyone. An avid walk leader for HF Holidays, recently completed Jurassic 100km St Austell running club and Climbed Mount Elbrus in Russia!

Trevor Phillips

Trustee
Trevor is our newest Trustee. He is a full time Train Driver for Cross Country Trains for the last 45 years but his heart has always been in the film industry which he's been a member of the British Film Institute as long as his railway career. He hosts and runs the successful Clay's Cinema at the Hall.
